BioI was born in a hospital in Sheffield, all of which has since been demolished except the psychiatric bit, so I was kinda born in the city's nut house.
I grew up, playing a lot of sport in the process, worked hard at school, read a lot and inherited my parents love of science fiction and fantasy. I have played rugby since I was nine and currently have a slight obsession with hurtling down a mountain on snow.
Upon leaving Uni I decided getting a real job was too much like hard work and got a job working in a Ski Resort in Colorado for the 06/07 ski season. I'm back for the 07/08 Season and loving being a ski bum.
I've had a variety of jobs (both paid and voluntary over the years) I've been a bartender, worked in a church, a class room assistant, a youth group leader for a young carers project, ski lift op, ticket scanner, rugby coach, charity shop assistant, bookie, exam invigilator, school receptionist, secretary for adoption and fostering department and a typist.
